The Western Workouts experience is built from a unique open kinetic chain approach to rider fitness. Kelly is dedicated to providing attainable & sustainable strategies alike, that are truly applicable to the needs of horsemen of all levels & disciplines.

These one day, intensive rider fitness clinics provide group & one on one coaching & guidance from Kelly in all facets of the clinics offerings.

All disciplines and experience levels are welcome and encouraged to attend. All participants are met where they are at in both their fitness & horsemanship journey and are provided tangible takeaways to utilize in & out of the saddle moving forward.

The day will be spent focusing on & learning about rider mechanics, movement patterns and applicable exercises to improve strength, balance, mobility & mind to muscle connection. All participants will receive personalized strategies & Western Workouts rider specific exercises pertaining to their individual needs to improve their overall strength, feel & horsemanship skills.

This focused, mindful work on improving physical capabilities & body awareness will provide each rider the ability to set themselves up for clearer communication, increased confidence & a smoother progression moving forward on every horse they swing a leg over.

The day will start with out of saddle ground work, going through movement patterns, physical sticking points, how they translate to struggles in the saddle and within our horses, as well as group work & individual coaching. Please wear clothes you can move well in & bring tennis shoes. Workout attire not required but suggested for the morning.

Lunch is provided alongside a discussion about overall nutrition, fueling for your goals & while traveling on the road.

The afternoon will be spent horseback & will begin with a pre-ride group warm up (in riding clothes). There will be a discussion about common issues in the saddle & will lead into one on one assessments. From there we will utilize different strategies to enhance mind/muscle connection & utilize specific drills & mind to muscle connections to improve sticking points.

To come full circle, the day will end with a Q&A, as well as group discussion regarding mindset growth, self belief and overcoming challenges.

  • No Show = No Refund

  • All non-horse & non-medical related cancellations need to be emailed to kelly@westernworkouts.com 3 weeks prior to the clinic date to receive a 50% refund.

  • All non-horse/non-medical related cancellations after the 3 week time frame are ineligible for a refund.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Cancellations anytime prior to the clinic date, due to human or horse injury with a vet release, need to be emailed to kelly@westernworkouts.com for a 50% refund and the option to participate as an auditor.

  • Any participant or horse injured on site during the clinic are ineligible for a refund but will receive the option to stay and audit.

ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A LIABILITY RELEASE WAIVER.
